Launch rankings place Jenny S-tier for two reported reasons: her dismantle loop periodically returns weapon parts, making long-term progression cheaper, and Wildcat Bomb is cited as one of the strongest AoE ultimates in the game, scaling from current weapon damage. Both are reported values we have not independently measured.
The core idea
Every other Hunter suffers when a weapon room offers nothing useful. Jenny does not: a miss is fuel. That changes how you route a run — weapon rooms become upgrade attempts with a guaranteed floor, and the question shifts from "is this item good?" to "is this item better than what dismantling it funds?"
Skill order
Start with Simple Modification to get the economy moving, then Twin Bombs and Cluster Bomb to convert it into room-wide pressure. The bombs inherit your weapon context, so this half of the kit rewards the same elemental discipline as any other build.
Weapon choice
A crowd-oriented element serves the bomb route well — Lightning (Disruption) or Frost (Freeze) both control groups while the bombs finish them. Keep one working weapon you never dismantle; the economy exists to fund that weapon's support, not to keep replacing it.
Relic and Tarot synergies
Sigil of Temperance rewards the dismantle loop directly. On Tarot, this is the one build where the dismantle cards are core rather than situational: The Empress (Upright) has a 25% chance to return an item of the same type when you dismantle, the Reversed face trades rate for quality, and The Fool (Reversed) triggers all your [Embarkation] effects twice when you dismantle an Embarkation relic — a genuine combo with relics like War Horn. These exact effects are cross-checked against the current English database.
Common mistakes
Dismantling the working weapon to chase economy value; picking off-element rarity upgrades that neither half of the kit uses; and spending every slot on economy with no survival pick — the loop only pays off if the run lasts long enough to spend it.
