Boss pressure through one element, companion events, and status effects that can repeat without splitting the build.
Long Tong is the clearest current route because Amber can repeat the main weapon's elemental job. Other Hunters can use Fire, but this site does not call them a fixed Fire pairing yet.

Boss job / Crowd job / Pivot rule
Keep the main weapon's Fire events and companion uptime stable. The route is strongest when Fury or Ignition windows are repeatable rather than merely large once.
Use a Fire weapon with reliable coverage before adding a second conditional engine. Fire Curse is a bridge only when another status is already present.
If Ember Spark or another Fire weapon never appears, keep the element your current weapon and relics already support. Do not drop a working run for the color alone.
